Hi, I’m Easha! My love for henna started long before Eashenna ever became a business. Growing up, henna was woven into my family’s traditions and celebrations. My great-grandmother would harvest fresh leaves from her henna plant in Bangladesh to make her own paste, a love for the art that carried through generations. I even remember the first time she made the paste it put it on my little hands the night before Eid! With encouragement from my mother and aunt, I began teaching myself in my early pre-teen years, practicing on just about anyone who would let me! After spending many years using this art form as an escape and doing henna just for fun with loved ones, I officially turned that lifelong passion into “Eashenna” in 2019. While life, the pandemic,and post-grad brought a few pauses along the way, my love for henna never went away. I’m drawn to everything about it: the artistry, the cultural traditions, the intricate details, and especially the bold, elaborate, maximalist designs! Through Eashenna, I hope to preserve and celebrate the traditions behind henna while making this beautiful art more accessible for everyone to enjoy. Whether it’s a wedding, a milestone, or simply a happy occasion worth celebrating, I’m grateful to be a small part of your special moments.
